seasonal is an adjective applied to many things: fruit & vegetables, weather, holidays, clothing.
it just dawned on me this year that perhaps i can also be considered seasonal 🙂
it’s a nice thought!
the car is mostly packed.
tonight will be easy and relaxing.
and tomorrow we will begin our trek home with 4 days in denver as the only long stop.
it’s always hard to leave, but i am looking forward to my kitchen and my garden and my quiet little life again.
my last day of yoga class was delicious – a perfect end to this treat for myself. all said and done, i went to class 28 days in 8 weeks.
today, matt spoke of how yoga often challenges us to face difficult things about ourselves, and i realized that what i have to carry home is the desire to change my very-deep-seated habit of allowing what others want and need take priority over something (like yoga) that is purely for me. i need to take this gift i have given myself for 2 months, mentally turn it into a Right that i feel is necessary to hold sacred, and commit to continuing a 4x a week practice.
i need reprogramming 🙂 and i think this might just be the time and place for it.
here’s to an uneventful trip home and the beginning of my second spring! 🙂
I am so sorry that I didn’t get to see you again before you left. I will miss you immensely.
Love you!

Have a good and safe trip, you two!
It was so good to see you – maybe next year
we can actually go camping or something.
