even though i worked most of the day today, i feel relaxed and content 🙂
it helps when you work on a weekend so you can get ahead and take time off later in the week, rather than working to catch up, of course!
i managed to cheese-grater my thumb making pizza last night <sighs> why am i such a klutz?
it is so amazingly beautiful today, i can only imagine that die_electric & la_mitraillette feel like they are in heaven, spending what is sure to be a gloriously sunny, breezy, delicious week away from the nola heat. they couldn’t have ordered more perfect weather.
i have a little love affair with sunset magazine’s recipes. i feel so fucking domestic flipping through each month, cutting out recipes that make my mouth water and taping them into my recipe book. i have already made and loved one of their thai meals and i have scores of other new ones to try at some point.
the world is good and i am feeling like the month of september is going to cooperate with my master plan to spend more time playing than working.
